They already sell live trees because it became a popular choice of their market, especially the people who are very environment conscious. Buying this kind of product will surely make your Christmas celebration this year the most unique and memorable one.

If you really feel bad in cutting these trees down because it became useless after a month, then you dont need to worry about it anymore. The tree alone could make the landscape look so scary or awkward. Also, the surrounding environment of the tree might not be conducive to its roots and would require you to just transfer it to another place.

You should also shop around. List all the local nurseries, garden centers, and other places where you could buy or dig your live tree. Are you going to choose what you would like to have or are they willing to dig out the one you would really want to have. Ask them how much you are going to pay after getting all those services.

If they already got some ready to buy plants, then you have to visit their nursery and inspect it. It would really not matter whether those plants were still in the soil, freshly dug, or grown out from containers. It is your sole responsibility to check on them and see if all of them are healthy. Always ensure the soil is soft and damp. This means the farm or nursery really takes good care of the plant they sell. They might be the one for you.

If you picked that one in the ground, then you should really dig it properly and carefully. Look for specialists to help you with your digging process. If they are nowhere, might as well learn how to dig on your own. Start from outside to inside, stop if its roots are visible. You may even observe others as they dig.

Last, handle your plant with care as you transport it to your place. When lifting it, hold the roots and not the trunk. When placing down, never drop it because its roots can be damaged as it forcefully hit the ground.
