With one of the most important predictions being that the Messiah, or the man known as Christ would be descended from King David. While this is the case, it should be noted that Orthodox Jews and Christians differ when it comes to Christ being the Messiah. For, while Christians believe the Messiah to refer to Jesus, orthodox Jews believe the Messiah is yet to come.
