There is no easy way of coping with the pain caused by separation or losing someone that is dearly loved. People who experience this has to go through several overwhelming emotions that can be quite heavy for them and eat the alive. IT sure is important that they seek help during this specific period of time because mostly this is where the depression begins and some negative thoughts could really cloud up in the brain of a human which could lead into doing things that would cause them physical pain or so. But then, even if they go regularly to such sessions if they are not helping themselves to move on, it could be harder than it seems. Of course, they should not be pressured to immediately feel okay but they need to think that their self is one of the most important thing they should consider. Yes, it is true that there are specific times that it feels like it can be better to be absorbed with ones own company but being with people who cares is something else.

They need other people as well to help them not focus on the negativity because they have not lost everything yet in the first place. All they need is just a little reaching for those trusted individuals like family and friends because they surely will listen. There also are support groups who can give such amount of support they needs.

Be cautious and give enough care to oneself both emotionally and physically. This is where self love is needed the most and it is not selfish for one to do it. Do things that makes you as an individual relax like exercise and so on. Treat yourself with food that promotes comfort and try keeping oneself out of huge decision just yet.

Make sure to not resort on drugs and alcohol while trying to fix the hole and pain which were left. Remember how there are people who are most affected when it happens. Kids are always sandwiched on issues like this.

Be aware that as a parent, one may feel really down but kids are falling apart as well. Do not allow losing both spouse and kids at the same time. Give them a strong figure to rely on so they can cope up as well or possibly try to heal while helping each other through it.
