When you're sincere, people will understand and trust you a lot more. When you are insincere, it is obvious and your team will not take you seriously.

Always lead by example. Don't hide behind your title. If you expect employees to be on time to work and keep a good attitude, you must set the example. Hypocrisy is always shunned upon. Always be a person that can be respected.
