You Have To Want It More Than You Are Afraid Of It

By Evan Sanders

You've got to really want it more than you are scared of it not happening.

Each and every day, day, we have occasions to grow, change, and rise to the challenge in life. What may just appear like another day is basically an opportunity to do something wonderful. True, almost all of the days we have may start as ordinary, but our plans that we have for ourselves, if done correctly, can actually turn something average into something, well, amazing. It takes effort. A good deal of effort. Everything in the world is going to be pushing you to just stay the same. Because this is where the majority of us are. We live in the middle. Not in the sense of classes etc, but in the sense of what we do with ourselves. When we start adventuring towards the edge, that's when things become exciting. Nevertheless at the exact same time, that's when the doubt of the future becomes larger and greater. You've got to decide for yourself if you're OK living in a world of doubt and yet be committed to total belief in what you're doing. Trust me, it's difficult.

Call it the universe, call it God, call it whatever it is you want to call it, but the fact is the same. You are here for a sound reason and you have abilities that have to be drilled into talents. What ends up occuring though is that we worry too much about what other folks think and we begin to worry that what we do isn't going to occur for one reason or another.

Much of the time, brilliant ideas die with the people who they live in. Many people take their dreams to the grave and never see them through because they are just too terrified. Fear is the main killer of dreams. This may be dread of failing, fear of views, fear of ridicule...however, fear drives one to shrink in the possibility they have.

It really would be dumb for me to claim to not be terrified. Any person that says that they don't get frightened should possibly consult a medical practitioner. It's what you do after being terrified that counts. This is where true courage comes in. Real courage is that loony 20 seconds after being deathly fearful where magic happens. It's absolutely fine to be afraid, but like I have claimed before, you have to reall want it more than you are afraid of it. You've got to decide that it's what you need and then be white-hot and dedicated to it. Without that call to rise to the challenge, you'll squander backwards and forwards for perpetuity. Decide.

Be driven by everything and everybody around you letting you know...no. Make that your fuel. Don't let it bring you down. Let it motivate you to keep going. The people who make the biggest difference in this world are the people who do not let the external world effect their souls belief in their dreams. Shield your dreams with dragons, guards, and trolls. Do whatever you can to keep them safe and harbor that belief. You would be surprised how straightforward it is to let a voice or an opinion dig its way into your heart and then slowly burn everything in the house. Only let people and words that continue your transmissible belief in your purpose enter into your heart.
